AI and OCR results may contain mistakes, omissions or inaccurate interpretations.
You should verify important information before relying on AI-generated or OCR-extracted results.
6. Document Storage and Security
Shortifye is designed to provide secure storage for uploaded documents using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
Depending on the system architecture and feature, information may be protected using encryption, authentication, access controls and other security mechanisms.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee complete protection against every possible security threat.
You are encouraged to maintain independent backups of important documents.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse Shortifye or use the platform for unlawful or harmful purposes.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Uploading malicious software, viruses or harmful code.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or infrastructure.

AI-generated information, OCR results, classifications and extracted text may not always be accurate or complete.

You should obtain appropriate professional advice when required.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shortifye and its operators shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar damages arising from your use of the service.
This may include losses associated with data, documents, business interruption, loss of profits or reliance on AI or OCR results, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. User Responsibility for Backups
Although Shortifye may provide document storage, users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important or irreplaceable files.
Shortifye should not be considered the sole backup location for critical records.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to an account when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, security or legal interests of Shortifye.
Accounts may also be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the service and may request account closure subject to applicable procedures and legal requirements.
