Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for safe and lawful use of Shortifye links, documents, accounts, and sharing features.

Last Updated: August 23, 2026

1. Purpose

This policy protects Shortifye users and third parties from abuse of URL-shortening, file storage, document sharing and related features.

2. Prohibited Activities

Do not use Shortifye to facilitate phishing, scams, malware, ransomware, credential theft, financial fraud, spam, malicious redirects, impersonation, unauthorized access, exploitation of security vulnerabilities, or distribution of illegal material.

3. Content Restrictions

Do not upload or share content that you do not have the legal right to store or distribute, or content that violates applicable law or another person's privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights.

4. Security Abuse

Do not probe, scan, attack, overload, interfere with, or attempt to bypass Shortifye authentication, rate limits, storage controls, APIs, databases, networks or other security measures without authorization.

5. Automated Use

Bots, scripts and automated requests must respect published limits and must not degrade service performance, circumvent controls, harvest private data, or create abusive links or accounts.

6. Reporting

Suspected abuse can be reported through Report Abuse. Provide enough information for us to identify the relevant URL, file, account or conduct.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate reports and, where appropriate, remove or restrict content, disable links, limit accounts, preserve relevant information, or cooperate with lawful requests.

8. False Reports

Do not knowingly submit false, misleading or abusive reports. Repeated misuse of the reporting process may itself result in restrictions.

9. Updates

We may update this policy as threats, features and legal requirements evolve.
